Since joining Digital Domain in 2007, Blake Sweeney has worked on some of the biggest projects to come through the studio. He was most recently a digital lighting lead on “Real Steel,” helping to develop a lighting pipeline that gave CG robots a photorealistic appearance while grounded firmly in a variety of live action settings. Blake’s earlier credits include roles as a lighting artist for “TRON: Legacy,” character look development lead for “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” and as a CG lighting artist for “Speed Racer.” Prior to Digital Domain, he served in a variety of roles on projects including “Across the Universe,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” “War of the Worlds,” “Troy,” “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,” “Hulk” and “Pearl Harbor,” among others. Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis campus.
