Mike Amron is a freelance digital artist. He has worked as a technical director for ILM, DD, VIFX and Metrolight. He created the SIGGRAPH 99 Electronic Schoolhouse Workshop "Visual Effects through Adaptive Technologies". He started the first San Diego Siggraph Chapter and served as the chair for L.A. SIGGRAPH in the 2008-2009 and 2013-2014 terms.
