Virtual Events in the Metaverse

This panel introduces producers, developers and digital artists to the new world of online events using real-time 3D massively multiplayer online virtual worlds (loosely referred to as “the metaverse”). Panelists will introduce platforms, present case studies and discuss current day challenges and future directions. The panel will be moderated by Chapter Past Chair and PGA New Media Council board delegate Ed Lantz. The event is $10 payable using PayPl during Zoom registration.

You must register with Zoom to get access to the event.

This event is open and free to LA ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter and PGA members IF you register by 24 March. You must register through Zoom to get access to this Webinar. We always appreciate a donation or Chapter Membership to help cover our expenses. Public registration is available and costs $10. Register and pay with Zoom.

Cancellations and Refunds: Event cancellations/refunds will be accepted if your request is received at least 24 hours prior to the event. The deadline for receiving the request is Monday, 12 April 2021 at 6:30pm PDT (GMT-0700). Refunds are for $9 to cover our expenses. Please email request to paid-event.2021@la-siggraph.org with the date, time, and email address you used for payment.
